Frequently Asked Questions

UNITED is a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry organization. While the app plays a very big part in helping us in our mission to unite the local and global body of Christ, we created the UNITED App simply as a tool to bring your churches, ministries, groups, businesses etc together, all in one place, making it more accessible and easier than ever for the local and global body of Christ to connect in person and get plugged in wherever they are.

It’s important to see that what we’re in pursuit of is an active, consistent and functioning unity that can only be explained in a three part trajectory. We believe that it’s only when this type of love and unity is visible throughout the whole world that Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-23 will be realized.

Part 1: Union

The theological reality that we have been perfectly united to God and each other in Christ. This reality is the fruit of God’s redemptive mission in the world that culminated in the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, we share in the oneness that the Father shares with the Son (John 17).

Part 2: Relational Unity

Understanding our union with God and each other, we are called to make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit within the body of Christ by treating one another virtuously (Colossians 3:12; Ephesians 4:1-6).

Part 3: Operational Unity

As the Church lives in relational unity with one another, loving each other as Christ commands, we are called to turn that unity outward as we operationalize Christ’s mission as a united body of Christ. It is through operational unity that we express our conviction that unity serves as the greatest declaration of the Gospel to the world.

The Bible gives many scriptures on unity, the two most prominent to us are:

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” ‭‭- John‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬-‭23‬

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” – ‭‭John‬ ‭13‬:‭34‬-‭35‬

No. There will not be a single church name or ministry attached to it, but it will take every church and ministry’s involvement.

Being a 3rd party organization helps us to better edify, add and promote what churches/ministries are doing both locally and globally within the body of Christ without bias as long as they are within the guidelines.

We focus on the essentials.

Here at UNITED, we believe that unity does NOT mean uniformity. By being a 3rd party organization that remains unbiased to any one church, affiliation, or denomination, we are able to unify the body of Christ by coming together in the essentials of the Christian faith and respecting all doctrinal differences beyond that. This also enables us to coordinate efforts as well as celebrate, edify, and promote what the local and global body of Christ is doing in it’s entirety.

Yes. We partner with churches, ministries, faith based organizations, businesses, brands and more to coordinate various forms of events, gatherings, activities, initiatives, networks, outreaches and other efforts that unite the body of Christ.

Christ who bridges the gap between us.

The name UNITED speaks to what we already have as believers through the finished work of Jesus;

unity with Him, God the Father, the Holy Spirit and one another. And while that form of

unity already exists spiritually, it also speaks to our vision to see

the body of Christ UNITED visibly around the world.

When you partner with us, we help to edify, add and even promote what you are doing as a church, ministry, group, business etc, bringing it all all together in one place and making it accessible to the local and global body of Christ.
