Statement Of Faith
UNITED is a 501(c)(3) organization. By being a 3rd organization that remains unbiased to any one church, affiliation, or denomination, we are able to that unify the body of Christ by coming together on in the essentials of the Christian faith and respecting all doctrinal differences beyond that. This statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us (i.e., that we all speak the same thing, 1 Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). The phraseology employed in this statement is not inspired or contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it contains all Biblical truth; only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.
We Believe
- The Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
- That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- That Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and the only way to the Father.
- In His virgin birth
- In His sinless life
- In His miracles
- In His atoning death, which has paid the full price for our sins.
- In His bodily resurrection.
- In His ascension to the right hand of God the Father.
- In His personal return in power and glory.
- That justification by faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation and sanctification of lost and sinful man.
- In the local church as the primary agency for the work of the Kingdom of God.
- In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit which includes: regeneration, power to live a godly life, spiritual gifts for the edifying of the church, and the fruits of the Spirit, which represent the character of Jesus Christ’s work in us.
- In spiritual unity among believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
